And every single time, I’m surprised by how much we actually experienced together 🤍 I recently went through our 2025 photo album (not going to lie - it was a struggle 😂) and picked our favourite family trips. You’ll probably notice one thing: nature plays the main role here 🌿 Open spaces, beautiful views, and that kind of calm that gently settles the heart 🌊⛰️ ✨ Scandinavia Everything feels in balance there. It honestly seems impossible to choose a wrong destination. If you find good connections - just go. You will rest 🤍 🇸🇪 Sweden Karlskrona and the Stockholm Archipelago, where we truly slowed down. And the Swedish rocks… they have a special place in my heart 🪨 🇩🇰 Denmark The Wadden Sea 🌊 The tides, the emptiness, the space - a deeply moving experience. 🇳🇴 Norway Like a postcard come to life: fjords, water everywhere, mountains. Simply spectacular. 🌴 Florida An unexpected choice, driven by cheap flights - until I saw manatees 🐋 We focused fully on nature: mangroves, wildlife, quiet wonder. We skipped theme parks on purpose 🤍 ⛰️ Seefeld Mountains, so many family-friendly activities, and no boredom at all. Fishing together was a completely new - and beautiful - experience 🎣 🐉 Furth im Wald Arrived exhausted, without a plan… and discovered an impressive dragon robot that truly leaves you speechless.     Hello from @gruene_woche 👋 And this year is extra special – 100 years of Grüne Woche 🎉 Such a perfect event for curious families 🤍 Why? Because it’s packed with interesting information, presentations, workshops, new technologies and hands-on experiences - you really need to see it for yourself 😍 The kids had an absolute blast! VR experiences, quizzes, spin-the-wheel games, milking an (artificial ;)) cow and even assisting with a sheep birth on a model 🐑 You can taste food from all over the world, get inspired for future travels – or simply fall in love with apples from Südtirol 🍎 We spent hours there yesterday and still didn’t manage to see everything - which says it all. This place is really special. ✨ Our personal family highlights: 🌸 Flower Hall 2.2a I always admire this hall – it truly feels like stepping into spring. For the 100th anniversary, it’s designed in a 1920s style inspired by Babylon Berlin, with early bloomers, decorations and a large fountain creating a magical atmosphere. 🚜 Hall 3.2 – ErlebnisBauernhof An absolute hit with kids! An interactive treasure hunt with learning stations about animals, nature, technology and soil. Kids collect tokens and exchange them for a drink and a souvenir cup. Tractor sitting, beekeeping and real farm insights included. ✨ Hall 7.2C We took photos in a booth, tried a Madagascar VR experience and spin-the-wheel games. Here you can learn how food security and fair production work worldwide – including insights into the cocoa supply chain and a 360° film about the connection between nutrition and climate. 🌍 Hall 27 Probably where we spent the most time! Mira tried climbing activities, while Roma joined creative workshops and a rally – collecting points and earning a little jar of honey 🍯 So hands-on, creative and engaging for kids. There is so much more… we kept stopping to discover new attractions all the time. And at the same time I feel like not everyone knows about them - so here’s a little cheat sheet from me to you 🫶 🐐 Kinderbauernhöfe & Abenteuerspielplätze Free activities like feeding animals, crafts or just playing under the supervision of educators. Usually free, donations welcome. Check what’s near you – the programmes change often. Examples: @asp.kolle.37 @jugmoho 🏊 Vereine (sports clubs) How much do you pay for swimming lessons? I pay €30 for 3 months – because my daughter is in a city-funded club. There are Vereine for almost every sport. Waiting lists happen, but it’s often so worth it.     #berlin #winterinberlin ⛄️ Today’s plan was to go for a longer walk somewhere in Brandenburg. But in the morning I saw a reel on @stadtpampa.berlin from Müggelsee, and well… plans changed 😉 Walking on the frozen surface of Berlin’s largest lake is an experience like no other – it was absolutely incredible 🤍 Yes, it’s cold and windy, so dress warmly, don’t forget a thermos with hot tea ☕️ and keep moving – it really helps 😉 If you have more time, definitely bring a sled and turn it into a proper winter walk ❄️ We walked up Großer Müggelberg, went sledding, then continued towards Teufelssee. There’s a lovely educational trail and a playground there – such a pleasant area for a family walk. 🚍 How we got there: from S-Köpenick you can take bus 169 (every ~20 minutes), which gets you close to all these spots. Such a beautiful winter experience – I feel a lot of gratitude that I could have experienced it✨ ❗️Always check local conditions before stepping onto the ice and use common sense – safety first.

    #hikewithkids #norway When I first saw photos of Pulpit Rock, I honestly felt scared. My first thought was: how would you do this hike with kids? In my head, a huge cliff without railings felt extremely dangerous. And while it is a place where you need to be careful and use common sense, this hike turned out to be absolutely incredible - and very much doable with children, even in winter, if you prepare well. 🅿️ Practical information: The trail starts at the parking area at Preikestolen BaseCamp. During the main season you can get there by bus, but in winter you’ll need a car. Parking costs around €30 for the whole day. The hike is 8 km in total (there and back). The trail is not technically difficult, but there is quite a lot of uphill walking and stone steps. The views along the way - and the final reward at Pulpit Rock - make every step worth it. 🥾 How to prepare: Good clothing and proper footwear are essential, especially with kids. Children need to be comfortable, warm and safe to enjoy a hike. The kids wore clothes from our favourite outdoor brand @namuk - functional, beautiful and made to keep them warm, comfortable and safe on the trail. Their winter boots were cosy and perfect for hiking. 🥪 Bring food and warm drinks - for energy and motivation. Nothing makes kids (and adults) hungry like a proper hike. Is it dangerous? Before the final part, there is a short section where the trail runs next to a drop. Even with my fear of heights, I didn’t feel particularly scared. Holding hands with the kids and keeping them on the rock side makes a big difference. 🌄 And Pulpit Rock itself? The views are absolutely breathtaking. I didn’t go right to the edge, while others did - and we even witnessed a proposal (she said yes 😉). As always, it’s all about common sense. 👧👦 If you’re hiking with kids, take breaks when they need them and talk about the place and surroundings - it keeps them engaged along the way. 🤍 I truly recommend this hike.     #hikewithkids #norway When I first saw photos of Pulpit Rock, I honestly felt scared. My first thought was: how would you do this hike with kids? In my head, a huge cliff without railings felt extremely dangerous. And while it is a place where you need to be careful and use common sense, this hike turned out to be absolutely incredible - and very much doable with children, even in winter, if you prepare well. 🅿️ Practical information: The trail starts at the parking area at Preikestolen BaseCamp. During the main season you can get there by bus, but in winter you’ll need a car. Parking costs around €30 for the whole day. The hike is 8 km in total (there and back). The trail is not technically difficult, but there is quite a lot of uphill walking and stone steps. The views along the way - and the final reward at Pulpit Rock - make every step worth it. 🥾 How to prepare: Good clothing and proper footwear are essential, especially with kids. Children need to be comfortable, warm and safe to enjoy a hike. The kids wore clothes from our favourite outdoor brand @namuk - functional, beautiful and made to keep them warm, comfortable and safe on the trail. Their winter boots were cosy and perfect for hiking. 🥪 Bring food and warm drinks - for energy and motivation. Nothing makes kids (and adults) hungry like a proper hike. Is it dangerous? Before the final part, there is a short section where the trail runs next to a drop. Even with my fear of heights, I didn’t feel particularly scared. Holding hands with the kids and keeping them on the rock side makes a big difference. 🌄 And Pulpit Rock itself? The views are absolutely breathtaking. I didn’t go right to the edge, while others did - and we even witnessed a proposal (she said yes 😉). As always, it’s all about common sense. 👧👦 If you’re hiking with kids, take breaks when they need them and talk about the place and surroundings - it keeps them engaged along the way. 🤍 I truly recommend this hike.     Our best travel experiences with kids in 2025 ✨ I never really know how much we’ve seen until I pause and look back. And every single time, I’m surprised by how much we actually experienced together 🤍 I recently went through our 2025 photo album (not going to lie - it was a struggle 😂) and picked our favourite family trips. You’ll probably notice one thing: nature plays the main role here 🌿 Open spaces, beautiful views, and that kind of calm that gently settles the heart 🌊⛰️ ✨ Scandinavia Everything feels in balance there. It honestly seems impossible to choose a wrong destination. If you find good connections - just go. You will rest 🤍 🇸🇪 Sweden Karlskrona and the Stockholm Archipelago, where we truly slowed down. And the Swedish rocks… they have a special place in my heart 🪨 🇩🇰 Denmark The Wadden Sea 🌊 The tides, the emptiness, the space - a deeply moving experience. 🇳🇴 Norway Like a postcard come to life: fjords, water everywhere, mountains. Simply spectacular. 🌴 Florida An unexpected choice, driven by cheap flights - until I saw manatees 🐋 We focused fully on nature: mangroves, wildlife, quiet wonder. We skipped theme parks on purpose 🤍 ⛰️ Seefeld Mountains, so many family-friendly activities, and no boredom at all. Fishing together was a completely new - and beautiful - experience 🎣 🐉 Furth im Wald Arrived exhausted, without a plan… and discovered an impressive dragon robot that truly leaves you speechless. Add nature, gardens and lovely attractions - perfect holidays 🌿 What were your travel highlights this year? Time to start dreaming about 2026 ✨✈️

I hadn’t - and I also didn’t know it turns into a Weihnachtshaus every Advent ✨ It’s small, a bit hidden and very Berlin - and suddenly you’re walking through living rooms from 200 years ago. Old songs, handwritten cards, festive décor - just a quiet December atmosphere, without the rush. There’s also “Beziehungsweise Familie” exhibition at the moment, showing how the idea of “family” has changed over time. Short, accessible, and great if your kids like to ask questions. For children: 🎧 kids’ audioguide 📝 rally with questions so they actually explore 🛠 free print workshops every Advent Saturday across the street (Museumslabor) And few words about the workshop - we enjoyed it a lot! I’m not very craft-skilled, but it was calm, friendly and hands-on in the best way. No pressure, just making something in December because it feels nice to do so 🤍 📍 Museum Knoblauchhaus, Nikolaiviertel 🎄 Weihnachtshaus: Nov 29 – Jan 4 👧 Kids & teens under 18: free 🎫 Adults: 5€ 📅 Dec 14: Snow Queen paper theatre (4+) (tickets online) //Werbung
