    #polandwithkids #zakopane Stage one of our summer adventure: completed! ✅ We spent the past week together as a family in Zakopane - and it was absolutely fantastic! 🌞 Despite gloomy forecasts promising rain, the weather turned out to be beautiful most of the time - sunshine, blue skies, and perfect hiking vibes. We walked in the mountains, met up with friends, enjoyed delicious food, and just soaked in the joy of being together. Today, part of the family went their own way - and tomorrow I’m heading to Gdynia with the girls, and then… Sweden! 🇸🇪 Our summer journey continues for a few more weeks and I plan to make the most of it! A few practical tips if you’re planning to visit Zakopane with kids: 🏡 We stayed at Tatra Green House and I can highly recommend it - super friendly and helpful host, very comfy cabin, peaceful location yet close to everything. 🚉 We came by train and had no car during our stay, but that wasn’t a problem - local buses run often and take you straight to most trails. 🍽 Favorite food spot? 100% Bubuja @bubujabistro - absolutely amazing food. Also, don’t skip the mountain huts - they have the coziest vibe and usually serve great regional dishes. 🎁 For souvenirs, head to Baza Tatry @bazatatry - beautiful and original pieces made by local artists. 👧👦 Our kids joined a day camp run by Tatra National Park (8:00-15:30), which gave us time to explore the trails - and they were happy and well taken care of! 🥾 Hikes we did (only Nosal with kids, but with good shoes and depending on fitness, the others are doable too): 1. Kuźnice – Kalatówki – Dolina Białego 2. Bystre Dolne – Nosal – Nosalowa Przełęcz – Dolina Olczyska – Bystre Dolne 3. Wierch Poroniec – Rusinowa Polana – Gęsia Szyja – Rówień Waksmundzka – Roztoka Hut – Palenica Białczańska (~16 km, long but stunning — at least do Rusinowa Polana with kids!) 4. Cyhrla – Dolina Kopieniec – Kopieniec Wielki – Dolina Białego – Jaszczurówka We truly loved it. There’s something magical about the mountains - peaceful, grounding, and those views at the top… always worth the climb. And there’s still so much left to discover… 💚⛰

    #july2025 July flew by so fast I honestly don’t know where it went - and I can’t believe it’s already August!! 😱 Summer in Berlin wasn’t exactly spoiling us weather-wise, but honestly, I rarely let that bother me 😂 So what happened? I kicked off the month with a little getaway to France with my husband - it was amazing. We explored the stunning Gorges du Verdon and wandered through lavender fields (all thanks to my father-in-law who bravely stayed with the kids and totally nailed it 🙌). Back in Berlin, I continued going to Lifted and absolutely loved it - kinda sad I have a summer break now 😂 Then I headed to Łódź to visit my sister and finally meet her adorable baby boy - totally smitten from the first moment 💛 We also went on a trip to Chemnitz and had such a good time there. And then - summer break! We kicked it off with a beautiful wedding of my husband’s friend, where we sang a traditional song we’d been preparing for months (who knew I’d be that nervous?!). I think it went okay 😅 After the wedding, we jumped on a train to Zakopane - the forecast promised non-stop rain but somehow we’ve had sunshine and it’s been gorgeous. The kids are doing a day camp and we get to hike in the mountains - I fall asleep every night from pure physical tiredness, and it feels soooo good. And now… it’s August already!? Tomorrow we’re off again and this month will be packed with travels – can’t wait for what’s ahead! ✨

Back in Berlin, I continued going to Lifted and absolutely loved it - kinda sad I have a summer break now 😂 Then I headed to Łódź to visit my sister and finally meet her adorable baby boy - totally smitten from the first moment 💛 We also went on a trip to Chemnitz and had such a good time there. And then - summer break! We kicked it off with a beautiful wedding of my husband’s friend, where we sang a traditional song we’d been preparing for months (who knew I’d be that nervous?!). I think it went okay 😅 After the wedding, we jumped on a train to Zakopane - the forecast promised non-stop rain but somehow we’ve had sunshine and it’s been gorgeous. Surrounded by mountains and nature, it’s the perfect escape for families who love hiking, good food, and fun activities @visitseefeld ✅ Family-friendly hikes: – Rundwanderung zur Triendlsäge - easy and scenic, with a must-stop at Triendlsäge Gasthof (amazing food!). – Rundwanderung Wildsee - fun Kneipp water basins and info boards about local nature. – Geisterklamm - thrilling gorge walk with bridges, a roaring river, and riddles for kids. – Bergbahnen Rosshütte - cable cars, playground, and stunning views. You can hike further to Seefelder Spitze if you feel adventurous. ✅ Activities kids loved: – Fishing at Leutascher Fischerei - rent everything on-site and even have your catch cooked for you. – Sigi’s Sauhaufen - cuddly bunnies and pigs, perfect for animal lovers. ✅ Where to eat: Triendlsäge Gasthof (our favorite), L5 Restaurant, Südtiroler Stuben, Seefelder Stube, Gasthaus Klammgeist, and Hochegg Alm for the best views. ✅ Good to know: If you stay in official accommodation, you get the Seefeld Guest Card 'PlateauCard' - free buses and train rides in the region plus discounts on attractions.     #luthershochzeit #lutherstadt Wondering if Luther’s Wedding in Wittenberg is worth a visit? It absolutely is! 🎉 Here’s a little recap from this year’s festival - and let me tell you, it was fantastic. We’re already planning to return next year, this time with proper costumes because the whole town dressed up and it looked amazing! What I loved most was the atmosphere: people truly enjoying themselves, a sense of togetherness 🤝, and so many attractions - yet it never felt overwhelming. Everything was beautifully coordinated: medieval games ⚔️ for kids and adults, a whole area just for children 🏰, concerts 🎶, performances 🎭, the festive wedding procession, traditional crafts 🛠️, a giant wedding cake 🍰 for everyone to try, delicious food 🥘, and of course, the charming town of Lutherstadt itself 🏡. We had such a great time - our kids didn’t even want to go back to the hotel at night! One of my favorite moments was the long table where everyone gathered to feast together 🍽️.     #june2025 #berlinwithkids 🌸June flew by - I honestly don’t know when or how. As always, it’s only when I look at the photos that I realize how much happened 😂. And a lot happened, which is why I feel like I really need a bit of rest. The summer holidays are just around the corner, and I can’t wait - I’m heading off again for five weeks and fully intend to rest a bit. ☀️In June, we visited Austria and Lutherstadt Wittenberg. And we had there a super nice time. 🪩Mira had her birthday - how is she already seven?! 📕 I spent half the month studying for an exam, which was super stressful because I hadn’t studied for anything in a long time. But I passed it yesterday, and besides feeling a huge sense of relief, I also feel really proud of myself - and now I’m already thinking about what to learn next 😂. One huge bonus: Berlin’s beautiful libraries are amazing for studying. 🚲 I also had a team event at work - it went great! We cycled around a lake and had a picnic. There were a few playground visits, a photo walk with @konaction (thank you so much for the first photo ❤️), and we also went to Lange Nacht der Wissenschaften. I really regret not going in previous years - it was amazing! Oh, and I’ve started working out again, and it’s going so well. The best part? Feeling my body get stronger! So, that’s probably it. I’m curious to see what July brings - hopefully, it’ll be just a tiny bit calmer 😂. #familylife #momof3kids #busymomlife #berlinmitkindern
