Berlin honestly feels like it has endless playgrounds – and I still like noticing them, even now.
Not because my kids spend hours there anymore, but because some of them are just really well designed. You can see that someone actually thought about how kids move, climb, explore.
If you’re in Berlin with kids and don’t feel like planning too much, Charlottenburg is a good place to start. There are a few playgrounds very close to each other, so you can just walk between them.
Berlin with kids – playgrounds in Charlottenburg:
These three are within a few minutes:
📍 Spielplatz Expedition Eisenzahn (Eisenzahnstraße 54)

📍 Spielplatz Eisenzahnstraße (Eisenzahnstraße 5)

📍 Dino Spielplatz (Waitzstraße 9)

All nice, interesting and with great attention to details!
And if you feel like extending the walk a little (or easily get there by bus):
📍 Piraten-Spielplatz (Tegeler Weg)

It’s right next to Schlosspark Charlottenburg, so you can easily turn it into a longer, slower afternoon – playground + park always works well.
And it was opened recently so it is totally new!
That are just 4 but in Charlottenburg you will find tones of them and really good ones. Charlottenburg in general is great for visiting with kids.
